| New Radio Remote Control Transmitter Offers Many Unique Features For Industrial Crane Applications February 28, 2006, Sharpsville, PA, USA – Cattron Group International
has unveiled their newest controller/transmitter, the T34C, for use in
industrial crane applications in North and South America. Cattron Group
International is a leading global manufacturer of remote control products
and professional services for the industrial, mining, commercial mobile
and railroad markets. One of the more distinctive features of the T34C is the unique design
of its control levers. Machined from aircraft-quality 6061 billet aluminum,
the handle for each lever is a different geometric shape making it easier
for the operator to distinguish between control levers without looking
down. The controller is constructed with advanced microcomputer electronics
employing surface mount technology and employs Cattron’s standard
Self-Diagnostics (lever/switch test with audible tones) that users have
come to rely on. The main housing is 5052 aircraft-quality aluminum and
incorporates a guard bar which protects the switches against physical
damage. Only the highest quality industrial grade and ‘mil-spec’
switches, field-tested and proven under extreme conditions, are used.
T34C controllers can be configured with up to six control levers and customized
with additional pushbuttons and toggle switches. The T34C operates with
readily available standard AA alkaline or NiMh rechargeable batteries.
