On time for CeMAT ASIA and CeMAT INDIA, CATTRON Group International increases its presence in the Asian market

Sharpsville, PA 11-16-08 -Since the beginning of September Cattron Group International (CGI), manufacturer of radio remote controls, has established is its own sales office in Shanghai, China, CAP -Cattron Group International Asia Pacific.

The office is run by Martin Chen, marketing and sales manager China, (picture). Wieland Weigler, Managing Director of Cattron-Theimeg Europe, says, “By establishing a sales office in Shanghai, we are accounting for the market development in Asia and in particular the development of the Chinese market. CAP will improve customer service thus, enhanc-ing the brand name “Cattron” and our reputation in the radio remote control market. Our presence at the CeMAT ASIA and CeMAT INDIA support our efforts in the market seg-ment “intra-logistics”.”

According to VDMA, (trade association for material handling technology and logistics), German intra-logistics, will in 2008, realize sales of almost 17.8 bn. Euro. With exports worth 475 m. Euro going to China, it is one of the most important importers of German products.

A sufficient reason for Cattron to exhibit, not only at CeMAT ASIA, but also at CeMAT INDIA in Bangalore, is the fast growing interest in in-house logistics in Asia, which, is un-derlined by the increasing numbers of exhibitors and visitors to CeMat Asia since its founding Year 2000.
